The place is really getting run down. Weeds around building sticky floors, sticky tables, chairs are worn out burger was okay but had better. I thought y'all were building?

Good food. The place is a bit run down and the prices are a bit high but the food is really good.

more like grease burger. everything is coated in so much grease you can squeeze a grilled cheese and get 1/2cup out of it. the fries arent given time to drain in the basket, instead just thrown in the basket so itll soak your grease burger more. if you have high blood pressure or diabetes avid this place!!! also dont take more than one kid if you need a high chair they only have 2 and 1 booster seat, so it makes it an adventure trying to feed a toddler. the one and only reason they got any stars is the staff. the staff is sweet and very respectable, i really enjoyed the manager she could be considered over friendly but with the way the world is its greatly appreciated. i ordered 3 burgers and a grilled cheese with drinks almost 40 bucks.

We were traveling and stopped in yesterday. I wouldn't know how the food tasted because they seemed to be out of everything I tried to order. Just wondering how they manage to stay open. The party I was with were able to at least get food big surprise there!! luckily they had something. As I observed what they had the burgers looked extreamly dry and from what I was told not very good . If it's voted best in San Angelo I would really hate to see what the worst is ...Was my first and last visit to Heff's. One star is even overrated

Been to this location since it opened. Always get great service,great food and treated like family. Big burgers and home fries.

My favorite burger in san angelo. I would reccomend calling order in as they do take some time, but it's worth the wait.

Good food. They don't sell Coca cola though. Pepsi products.

Delicious! The burgers and fries/tots are always good and the staff is very friendly. My only issue is sometimes the wait time is high even when they aren't busy.

We've been to Heff's before, several years ago. Stopped by again this weekend, and things have really gone downhill. Sadly, my burger was tasty, but the bun was soggy, and the onion rings had a fishy aftertaste. The tables hadn"t been cleaned, the whole place just looked rundown. It was graduation weekend, but there was not a lot of people there. Hope they can get things back on track soon, we used to like stopping there!

Today, I went in for a special that Heff’s was not equipped to honor. After an hour, I received my food. Within that hour, many customers were turned away, as there was only one person on the register and one on the grill. The bathroom was not stocked. The employees had to close the establishment for the day. It was a very poor experience that I will not have again. Heff’s closed its doors for the day, but I am closing my door to Heff’s for good.

I was pleasantly surprised. I was honestly not expecting the quality of which we received. I thought perhaps it would be overpriced and greasy burgers lacking the freshness it claimed. But we decided to try it anyway. The first time walking in the space is quaint and well spaced with a friendly greeting from the staff we sat out determining what to order. We settled on a Bucket burger with twisters for him, a Double with onion rings for me, and a kids Funny burger with tots. Everything was exceptional. Thank you for the experience we will be back.

Burger and twisters were good but they didn't have any diet sodas and were "too busy" to check. (There wasn't a crowd)

Burgers are great, onion rings are to die for. Every thing was freshly prepared and not out of a bag.

The food is GREAT!!! However, the staff needs trained in cleanliness. Even after the tables have been cleaned by the young girls, they still need a thorough cleaning....condiments bottles have stuff on them...napkin containers have food and fingerprints all over. Table needs thorough cleaning...not just around condiments. I love HEF's food so i would really like the cleanliness paid attention to. The chairs are NASTY!!! NO COMPLAINTS about the food!!!

45 minutes to receive hamburger to go order... I understand a little longer wait because it's fresh beef, but did you have to Slaughter, skin, debone, and grind the beef yourself? I guess that would explain why my ribbon fries were burnt and hard as a rock... Came here because I heard so many wonderful things, shame on me won't be going back!

I already loved Heff's burgers after having tried them in Abilene. This location is even better because when I went in on a Friday night, they had live music! A great old time country band with fiddle, harmonica & a guy that played the guitar, mandolin & banjo!!

Excellent burgers, fast service, and friendly staff make for a great dining experience... this restaurant, since I reviewed it has gone out of business. They were moving to a new location, however, the new location has never opened...

Lady at the counter was rude today and being a smart ass ( maybe she needs a smoke break ) just to much for her to handle today , but....usually there is great service

I love the food, love the environment and haven't had anything that I didn't like! Definitely one of the Best burgers I've ever had! I've also noticed that Lorena is such a hard worker and always puts a smile on the faces of her guests. I love this place!

I was not impressed at all.Hamburger was the only good thing. French fries were cold and tasted like the oil hadn't been changed in awhile. Ran our of sweet tea and when they finally replenished it my meal was over. I will not return. And the inside temp was very hot. Felt as if the heater was on when the outside temp was 80+ degrees.

We waited at the front for like 15 no one was helping the line of literally 23 ppl... i went to the back to ask what was going on and the young lady said she would get to it... so i get back in line and a roach crawls across the front counter we will not be eating here... looks like only a couple can eat here at a time....better burgers and service anywhere else

If you like a really good hamburger, done exactly like you like it, this is the best place to get it! Everyone is very friendly and will go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your meal. The prices are great as well! I would definitely recommend Heff's to anyone who loves a good hamburger and fries!

I stopped in for a business lunch today and had a Mushroom Swiss burger combo. The burger was good and fresh. The service was prompt and friendly. And the price was good as well.

If you haven't tried the Heffs salad you should. This is a great mixture of grilled onions, jalapenos, mushrooms.cheese and ba on along with all the regular salad fixings and grilled chicken. Yum.

The meat taste sour couldn't even eat my burger, the tables and floor were sticky, the restaurant as a whole just looked dirty!! Have been several times and this was the first bad experience!
